MEDION GOPAL P5430 – POWERED BY NAVTEQ MAPS

by revamp on December 3, 2008

Medion launched new GPS navigation system, MEDION GoPal P5430. With the new GoPal P5430 Medion is emphasizing the extra large screen that measures 5″ diagonally. The rest of the features are also medium to high end.Another good detail is the unusual inclusion of a finger print sensor for security reasons, a feature that can usually be seen on laptops. It uses the SiRF InstantFix II GPS receiver which reduces the time to first fix by guessing where those satellites might be.

MEDION GoPal P5430 features:

  • large 5″ TFT touchscreen colour display
  • 12.cm TFT-touchscreen with 65,536 colours
  • Full Western and Eastern Europe Navteq maps
  • Avoid traffic jams with traffic Master
  • Integrated TMC antenna
  • Fingerprint Sensor and Voice control
  • High performance SiRF Titan 600 Mhz processor
  • Text-to-Speech for precise traffic guidance
  • Pre-loaded safety camera locations
  • Lane and Speed advisor
  • SiRF InstantFix II
  • 3 GB memory.

MEDION GoPal P5430 comes with maps Western and Eastern Europe, provided by Navteq, and an integrated TMC traffic antenna to help you stay out the mess. This system will become available for purchase in Europe with a price tag of €200.
