The BlackBerry Storm is Research In Motion’s answer to Apple’s iPhone. The BlackBerry Storm smartphone features a SurePress™ touch screen—an innovative, pressable touch screen that makes navigation a breeze and allows accurate typing. The 3.2 megapixels camera with auto focus and auto flash on the BlackBerry Storm smartphone, allows you to take sharp, print-quality pictures.

The HSPA network and the BlackBerry Storm smartphone’s 528-MHz processor combine to support the need to multitask and prioritize without falling behind or out of touch.

Advanced phone features are

  • voice activated dialing
  • conference calling
  • speakerphone
  • voicemail attachment playback
  • Instant messaging and text messaging (SMS and MMS)
  • Access to social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace
  • Wireless email for personal/web-based and business accounts.

The BlackBerry Storm smartphone features built-in Global Positioning System (GPS) capabilities. Designed to work with BlackBerry Maps and other location-based software. 1 GB of built-in memory—add up to 16 GB more using microSD cards

The touch-screen BlackBerry smartphone will reach British shelves on  14th November and some other parts of Europe by mid December. Pre-order already crossed 100k.
It will be available for $199.99 with a two year contract. For companies the price will be no greater than $89.99, also with a 2 year contract.
